Abstract[English]
Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to a user equipment (UE) that controls aspects of power reduction for signal transmission to reduce an amount of power reduction that is applied as part of compliance with user safety parameters. For instance, power class reduction algorithms are disclosed that provide minimum power class reductions for different power classes while enabling compliance with specified user safety parameters. Further, the described techniques enable appropriate maximum power reduction (MPR) or additional maximum power reduction (A-MPR) values to be identified and applied in conjunction with power reduction.[French]
