Abstract[English]
An affective response system for autonomous agents creates a configurable mapping from perceived emotions from stimuli to appropriate response emotions as part of an empathetic autonomously animated system. The capacity to configure the empathetic response allows for the easy and intuitive creation of different styles of response to convey desired personality traits and tailor the emotional performance to specific use-cases. The parameters that describe the empathetic response can be modified dynamically to simulate mood swings or changes in the state of mind. The input emotions can come from any emotion classification system including but not limited to an NLP system or facial emotional analysis system. The outputs can be used to drive verbal or non-verbal behaviors.[French]
Un système de réponse affective pour des agents autonomes crée un mappage configurable à partir d'émotions perçues de stimuli à des émotions de réponse appropriées en tant que partie d'un système empathique animé d'un point de vue autonome. La capacité à configurer la réponse empathique permet la création facile et intuitive de différents styles de réponse pour véhiculer des traits de personnalité souhaités et adapter les performances émotionnelles à des cas d'utilisation spécifiques. Les paramètres qui décrivent la réponse empathique peuvent être modifiés de manière dynamique pour simuler des sautes ou des changements d'humeur dans l'état d'esprit. Les émotions d'entrée peuvent provenir de n'importe quel système de classification d'émotions comprenant, mais sans y être limité, un système NLP ou un système d'analyse émotionnelle faciale.
