The present invention relates to methods of modulating delivery of a polynucleotide of interest by altering the route of administration. Additionally, the present invention relates to methods of treating bone fragility syndromes, for example osteogenesis imperfect. More particularly, the present invention relates to targeting gene therapy compositions to bone by providing the composition by intraperitoneal administration.[French]
