Abstract[English]
Provided herein are compositions and solutions containing tetrasodium EDTA, ethanol, and chlorhexidine, and optionally taurolidine, heparin, or a thrombolytic agent. The compositions may be disposed on a cleaning wipe to provide broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity on planktonic and biofilm cells of clinically relevant pathogens. Also provided herein is a peripheral line placement kit containing the compositions and solutions.[French]
L'invention concerne des compositions et des solutions contenant de l'EDTA tétrasodique, de l'éthanol et de la chlorhexidine, et éventuellement de la taurolidine, de l'héparine ou un agent thrombolytique.
