Abstract[English]
A virtual space mouse is provided which comprising three virtual 2D graphic objects called central knob, top knob and side knob. The three knobs are placed on a navigation area reachable by finger gestures. Each knob is configured for being draggable via substantially vertical/horizonal direction movements so as to define six basic mouse manipulation gestures each one associated to a corresponding basic 6DOF change which is a basic manipulation of a position or of a rotation of a given virtual entity in the 3D space in six degrees of freedom. Receive a drag gesture input applied to one or more of its three knobs and a corresponding 6DOF manipulation of the given virtual entity in the 3D space is performed.[French]
L'invention concerne une souris d'espace virtuel qui comprend trois objets graphiques 2D virtuels appelés bouton central, bouton supérieur et bouton latéral. Les trois boutons sont placés sur une zone de navigation atteignable par des gestes de doigt. Chaque bouton est configuré pour pouvoir être tiré par l'intermédiaire de mouvements de direction sensiblement verticale/horizontale de façon à définir six gestes de manipulation de souris de base associés chacun à un changement 6DOF de base correspondant qui est une manipulation de base d'une position ou d'une rotation d'une entité virtuelle donnée dans l'espace 3D en six degrés de liberté. La réception d'une entrée de geste de glissement appliquée à un ou plusieurs de ses trois boutons et à une manipulation 6DOF correspondante de l'entité virtuelle donnée dans l'espace 3D est effectuée.
