Abstract[English]
Described herein are compositions and methods for the treatment or prevention of dermal or ocular surface disorders, such as those associated with bacterial and/or parasitic infections. Bacterial and/or parasitic infections include mites (e.g., demodex), worms, protozoa (e.g., amoeba (e.g., acanthamoeba or cryptosporidiosis)), onchocerciasis, lice, scabies, nematodes, or chlamydia. Said compositions and methods comprise compounds which demonstrate immunological, keratolytic, anti-histamine, anti-inflammatory, and/or other desirable activities. Topical administration of said compositions to the eyelid margin or surrounding areas provides therapeutic benefit to patients suffering from ocular surface disorders.[French]
La présente invention concerne des compositions et des procédés pour le traitement ou la prévention des troubles de la surface cutanée ou oculaire, tels que ceux associés à des infections bactériennes et/ou parasitaires. Les infections bactériennes et/ou parasitaires comprennent les acariens (par exemple, demodex), les vers, les protozoaires (par exemple, les amibes (par exemple, acanthamoeba ou cryptosporidiose)), l'onchocercose, les poux, la gale, les nématodes ou la chlamydia. Lesdites compositions et lesdites méthodes comprennent des composés présentant des activités immunologiques, kératolytiques, anti-histaminiques, anti-inflammatoires et/ou d'autres activités souhaitables.
