Abstract[English]
A system and method for enabling cryptographically sealed (encrypted) auction bids for one or more items, from one or more bidders, based on an Elliptic-Curve Diffie-Hellman (ECDH) cryptographic key exchange on a blockchain-based smart contract. A Diffie-Hellman key exchange is a method for securely exchanging cryptographic keys over a public channel, and allows two parties that have no prior knowledge of each other to jointly establish a shared secret-a value known only to the parties involved in the exchange but not to any eavesdropper. This shared secret can be then used as a key to encrypt subsequent communications, such as a specific bid, using a symmetric-key cipher.[French]
Un système et un procédé pour permettre des offres d'enchères cryptographiquement scellées (chiffrées) pour un ou plusieurs articles, à partir d'un ou de plusieurs enchérisseurs, sur la base d'un échange de clés cryptographiques de Diffie-Hellman à courbe elliptique (ECDH) sur un contrat intelligent basé sur une chaîne de blocs. Un échange de clés Diffie-Hellman est un procédé pour échanger de manière sécurisée des clés cryptographiques sur un canal public, et permet à deux parties qui n'ont pas de connaissance préalable l'une de l'autre d'établir conjointement un secret partagé - une valeur connue uniquement des parties impliquées dans l'échange mais pas à n'importe quel dispositif d'écoute clandestine.
