Abstract[English] Provided are polymer compositions comprising: a polycondensation polymer; and an encapsulated flame retardant agent, wherein the encapsulated flame retardant agent comprises a passivating coating and a catalytic flame retardant core and wherein the passivating coating has a thickness of from about 1 nm to about 100 nm observed using scanning electron microscopy. The catalytic flame retardant core may be coated via a process of atomic layer deposition.[French] L'invention concerne des compositions polymères comprenant : un polymère de polycondensation ; et un agent ignifuge encapsulé, l'agent ignifuge encapsulé comprenant un revêtement de passivation et un cœur ignifuge catalytique et le revêtement de passivation présentant une épaisseur allant d'environ 1 nm à environ 100 nm observée à l'aide d'une microscopie électronique à balayage. Le cœur ignifuge catalytique peut être revêtu par l'intermédiaire d'un procédé de dépôt de couches atomiques.
