Abstract[English]
Disclosed herein is a method for repelling the invasion of million-strong swarms of migratory locusts by using the shock waves. The method may include one or several shock wave generators; which can be installed on the ground surface while the locusts are flying and approaching overhead or it can be carried by boats or other vessels to target the invading locusts horizontally as they are flying and approaching over the sea or other waterways. The shock waves should be shot frequently, at least two times, and with proportional intervals in order to harass and agitate and make the million-strong swarm flee the area. The power level of the shock waves may be higher than 120dB.[French]
Un procédé de répulsion de l'invasion d'essaims de plus d’un million de criquets migratoires à l'aide des ondes de choc est divulgué dans la description. Le procédé peut comprendre un ou plusieurs générateurs d'ondes de choc qui peuvent être installés sur la surface du sol lorsque les criquets volent et s'approchent au-dessus de la tête ou qui peuvent être transportés par des bateaux ou d'autres navires pour cibler les criquets envahissants horizontalement lorsqu'ils volent et s'approchent de la mer ou d'autres voies d'eau.
