Abstract[English] A method for creating a digital dental restoration model. The method includes receiving a three-dimensional virtual model of oral structures of a patient, receiving classification data classifying an oral situation of the patient, and determining a three-dimensional (3D) geometry that defines a surface anatomy of the digital dental restoration. The method further includes automatically filtering, based on the determined 3D geometry, a set of possible first restoration design variables by restricting respective first restoration design variables to be compatible with the determined 3D geometry, and receiving an input that identifies a selected first restoration design variable from the filtered set of first restoration design variables.[French] L'invention concerne un procédé de création d'un modèle numérique de restauration dentaire. Le procédé comprend la réception d'un modèle virtuel tridimensionnel des structures bucco-dentaires d'un patient, la réception de données de classification d'une situation bucco-dentaire du patient et la détermination d'une géométrie tridimensionnelle (3D) qui définit une anatomie de surface de la restauration dentaire numérique. Le procédé consiste également à filtrer automatiquement, sur la base de la géométrie 3D déterminée, un ensemble de premières variables de conception de restauration possibles en limitant la compatibilité des premières variables de conception de restauration respectives à la géométrie 3D déterminée, et à recevoir une entrée qui identifie une première variable de conception de restauration sélectionnée dans l'ensemble filtré de premières variables de conception de restauration.
