Abstract[English]
A process for stripping liquid crude methanol is described, the process comprising the steps of: (a) passing a feed stream of liquid crude methanol into a stripping section of a vessel, the liquid crude methanol comprising methanol and dissolved gases comprising hydrogen and one or more of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, argon and methane; (b) passing a stream of stripping gas into the stripping section of the vessel, the stripping gas comprising hydrogen; (c) contacting the liquid crude methanol and the stripping gas in the stripping section of the vessel to form a liquid stripped crude methanol product and an enriched gas mixture comprising hydrogen, the dissolved gasses and methanol vapour; (d) passing the enriched gas mixture through a water wash section fed with wash water, which water wash section is in fluid communication with the stripping section of the vessel, such that at least a portion of the methanol vapour in the enriched gas mixture is washed out of the enriched gas mixture, to form a methanol depleted gas mixture and a methanol-enriched wash water, which is passed to the stripping section of the vessel.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé d’extraction de méthanol brut liquide, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à : (a) faire passer un flux d'alimentation de méthanol brut liquide dans une section d'extraction d'une cuve, le méthanol brut liquide comprenant du méthanol et des gaz dissous comprenant de l'hydrogène et un ou plusieurs éléments parmi le monoxyde de carbone, le dioxyde de carbone, l'azote, l'argon et le méthane ; (b) faire passer un flux de gaz d'extraction dans la section d'extraction de la cuve, le gaz d'extraction comprenant de l'hydrogène ; (c) mettre en contact le méthanol brut liquide et le gaz d'extraction dans la section d'extraction de la cuve pour former un produit de méthanol brut extrait liquide et un mélange de gaz enrichi comprenant de l'hydrogène, des gaz dissous et de la vapeur de méthanol ; (d) faire passer le mélange gazeux enrichi à travers une section de lavage à l'eau alimentée en eau de lavage, ladite section de lavage à l'eau étant en communication fluidique avec la section d'extraction de la cuve, de telle sorte qu'au moins une partie de la vapeur de méthanol dans le mélange gazeux enrichi est lavée hors du mélange gazeux enrichi, pour former un mélange gazeux appauvri en méthanol et une eau de lavage enrichie en méthanol, qui est transmise à la section d'extraction de la cuve.
