Abstract[English] A method of recycling a waste ionomer material, the method comprising: heating the waste ionomer material in a solvent to disperse the waste ionomer material forming a dispersion of ionomer in the solvent, the dispersion also containing fluoride anions in solution; contacting the dispersion with a precipitant or adsorbent to form a solid material comprising the fluoride anions; and separating the dispersion of ionomer from the solid material comprising the fluoride anions.[French] L'invention concerne un procédé de recyclage d'un matériau ionomère usagé, le procédé consistant à : chauffer le matériau ionomère usagé dans un solvant pour disperser le matériau ionomère usagé en formant une dispersion d'ionomère dans le solvant, la dispersion contenant également des anions fluorure en solution ; mettre en contact la dispersion avec un précipitant ou un adsorbant pour former un matériau solide comprenant les anions fluorure ; et séparer la dispersion d'ionomère du matériau solide comprenant les anions fluorure.
