Abstract[English]
In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method (100) of classifying invention-related information in relation to one or more sources is provided. The method comprises identifying (102) an indication of a Distinctive Causal Output, DCO, and one or more Essential Causal Features, ECFs, in invention-related information. The method further comprises classifying (104) the invention-related information according to whether or not the indication of the DCO and one or more ECFs indicates that the invention-related information belongs to either: a first class in which the invention-related information has: the same DCO as one or more of the sources; and one or more ECFs of the invention-related information are different to one or more ECFs of the one or more sources; or a second class in which the invention-related information has: the same DCO as one or more of the sources; and one or more ECFs of the invention-related information are the same as one or more ECFs of the one or more sources. The method further comprises providing (106) an indication of whether the invention-related information has been classified as belonging to the first class, the second class or does not belong to either class.[French]
Dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne un procédé mis en œuvre par ordinateur (100) de classification d'informations relatives à une invention par rapport à une ou plusieurs sources. Le procédé comprend l'identification (102) d'une indication d'une sortie causale distinctive, DCO, et d'une ou de plusieurs caractéristiques causales essentielles, CEF, dans des informations relatives à une invention. Le procédé consiste en outre à fournir (106) une indication indiquant si les informations relatives à une invention ont été classées comme appartenant à la première classe, à la seconde classe ou n'appartiennent ni à l'une ni à l'autre classe.
