METHOD OF TREATING AN IRIDIUM CONTAINING EFFLUENT STREAM A method of treating an iridium containing effluent stream to remove and recover iridium, the method comprising: adding a base to the iridium containing effluent stream to increase pH of the effluent stream and precipitate the iridium as a solid iridium salt; and separating the solid iridium salt from the effluent stream.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'un flux d'effluent contenant de l'iridium pour éliminer et récupérer l'iridium, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à : ajouter une base au flux d'effluent contenant de l'iridium pour augmenter le pH du flux d'effluent et précipiter l'iridium en tant que sel d'iridium solide ; et séparer le sel d'iridium solide du flux d'effluent.
