Abstract[English] A method for preparing a catalyst support is described comprising the steps of: (i) preparing an aqueous slurry of titania precursors, (ii) spray-granulating the aqueous slurry in a fluidised bed spray granulator to form titania microspheres and fine particles, (iii) separating the fine particles from the titania microspheres and recycling them to the fluidised bed spray granulator, and (iv) recovering and calcining the titania microspheres, wherein the titania precursors comprise a first titania precursor and a second titania precursor and the volume- median diameter of the first titania precursor is less than the volume-median diameter of the second titania precursor.[French] L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un support de catalyseur comprenant les étapes consistant à : (i) préparer une suspension aqueuse de précurseurs de dioxyde de titane, (ii) granuler par pulvérisation la suspension aqueuse dans un granulateur à pulvérisation à lit fluidisé pour former des microsphères de dioxyde de titane et des particules fines, (iii) séparer les particules fines des microsphères de dioxyde de titane et les recycler vers le granulateur à pulvérisation à lit fluidisé, et (iv) récupérer et calciner les microsphères de dioxyde de titane, les précurseurs de dioxyde de titane comprenant un premier précurseur de dioxyde de titane et un second précurseur de dioxyde de titane et le diamètre médian en volume du premier précurseur de dioxyde de titane étant inférieur au diamètre médian en volume du second précurseur de dioxyde de titane.
