Abstract[English]
A method of using confidence scores output by one or more classifiers to determine a combined confidence score, each of the confidence scores indicating a probability that input data comprises a target belonging to a target category, the method comprising: receiving, at a time instance, one or more confidence scores from one or more of the classifiers; obtaining at least one target category probability; determining the combined confidence score using: (i) the one or more confidence scores received at said time instance; (ii) the at least one target category probability; and (iii) a likelihood of observing all confidence scores received from the classifiers up to a previous time instance given that the target belongs to the target category; or a previously determined combined confidence score determined using one or more confidence scores received from one or more of the classifiers at the previous time instance; and outputting the combined score.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé consistant à utiliser des scores de confiance générés par un ou plusieurs classificateurs pour déterminer un score de confiance combiné, chacun des scores de confiance indiquant une probabilité que des données d'entrée comprennent une cible appartenant à une catégorie cible, ledit procédé consistant à : recevoir, à une instance temporelle, un ou plusieurs scores de confiance d'un ou de plusieurs des classificateurs ; obtenir au moins une probabilité de catégorie cible ; déterminer le score de confiance combiné en utilisant :
(i) le(s) score(s) de confiance reçu(s) à ladite instance temporelle ; (ii) la ou les probabilités de catégorie cible ; et (iii) une probabilité d'observation de tous les scores de confiance reçus des classificateurs jusqu'à une instance temporelle précédente, étant donné que la cible appartient à la catégorie cible ; ou un score de confiance combiné déterminé précédemment à l'aide d'un ou de plusieurs scores de confiance reçus d'un ou de plusieurs classificateurs à l'instance temporelle précédente ; et générer le score combiné.
