Disclosed is a therapeutic cushion for side-lying, which is an orthopaedic support product intended to ensure correct body positioning when resting in a lateral side-lying position. The cushion is formed by a core, a padded element (if needed) and protective covers. The core provides the therapeutic function and is manufactured as a single foam piece, formed by three bodies sharing the same longitudinal axis: an upper body in the shape of a rectangular prism, a central body in the shape of an inverted truncated pyramid and a lower body in the shape of a rectangular prism. A set of body measurements (A, B, C, D, E, F and G) will be taken into account for the manufacture of the cushion core. The padded element provides comfort when the foam is very rigid, and the protective covers protect both the integrity of the cushion and the skin when the cushion is in contact with the user.[Spanish]
El cojín terapéutico para decúbito lateral es un producto de apoyo ortopédico orientado a un posicionamiento corporal correcto para el descanso en decúbito lateral. El cojín está compuesto por un núcleo, un almohadillado (si se precisa) y unas fundas protectoras. El núcleo engloba la función terapéutica y está fabricado en una sola pieza de espuma, conformado por tres cuerpos que comparten el mismo eje longitudinal: uno superior en forma de prisma rectangular, un cuerpo central con forma de tronco de pirámide invertida y un cuerpo inferior en forma de prisma rectangular. Para la elaboración del núcleo del cojín se tendrán en cuenta una serie de medidas corporales ( A, B, C, D, E, F y G). El almohadillado aporta confort cuando la espuma es muy rígida y las fundas protectoras protegen tanto la integridad del cojín como la piel al contacto con el usuario.[French]
L’invention concerne un coussin thérapeutique pour décubitus latéral qui est un produit de soutien orthopédique destiné à assurer un positionnement corporel correct pour le repos en décubitus latéral. Le coussin est composé par une partie cœur, un rembourrage (si nécessaire) et des housses de protection. La partie cœur, conçue pour assurer la fonction thérapeutique, est composée d’une pièce unique en mousse, formée par trois corps qui partagent le même axe longitudinal : une partie supérieure en forme de prisme rectangulaire, un corps central en forme de tronc de pyramide inversée et un corps inférieur en forme de prisme rectangulaire. Une série de mesures corporelles (A, B, C, D, E, F et G) doivent être prises en compte pour l’élaboration de la partie cœur du coussin. Le rembourrage permet d’apporter un confort lorsque la mousse est très rigide et les housses de protection protègent autant l’intégrité du coussin que la peau de l’utilisateur.
