Abstract[English] The present invention relates to the automation of pliers having parallel jaws, the fastening part of which slides into a toothed cavity. A connecting rod (15) is inserted by means of a projection (22) in a groove (16) of the handle. The end (20) of the connecting rod slides over the bench. The connecting rod is subjected to moments produced by springs anchored at the ends thereof. Initially, the movable handle rotates around the projection (22) of the connecting rod and its protuberance (13), housed in a groove of the jaw (11), moves the same until it touches the part to be gripped. Next, vertical sliding of the protuberance (13) in the groove (11) causes the shaft (14) to raise and the triggers (24) are rotated, the teeth thereof making contact with those of the bench.
