Automotive trim part comprising a carpet layer consisting of a fibrous structured needlefelt top layer, and a backing layer comprising a fibrous needlefelt layer, whereby the fibrous needlefelt layer comprises fibers and a thermoplastic binder. The fibers from the needlefelt top layer extend into the backing layer and the extended fibers in the backing layer are locked in place by the thermoplastic binder of the backing layer.[French]
L'invention concerne une pièce de garniture automobile comprenant une couche de tapis constituée d'une couche supérieure fibreuse structurée de feutre aiguilleté, et d'une couche de renfort comprenant une couche fibreuse de feutre aiguilleté, la couche fibreuse de feutre aiguilleté comprenant des fibres et un liant thermoplastique. Les fibres provenant de la couche supérieure de feutre aiguilleté s'étendent dans la couche de renfort et les fibres s'étendant dans la couche de renfort sont maintenues en place par le liant thermoplastique de la couche de renfort.
