A verification server obtains (309) current data extracted from an initiation message, comprising a current telephone number and also comprising a current terminal network identifier and/or an initial network identifier. The verification server also obtains (313) reference data comprising a reference telephone number, and also comprising a reference terminal network identifier and/or a reference initial network identifier.
