Abstract[English] The invention relates to a magnetic material comprising at least iron, in metal form and/or in oxide form, at least one oxide matrix, the iron content being between 15% and 70% by weight of iron element relative to the total weight of said material, and at least silicon carbide in its alpha (α-SiC) crystallographic form, characterized in that said material comprises at most 25% by weight of hematite relative to the total weight of said material, said material being in the form of beads or extrudates.[French] L'invention concerne un matériau magnétique comprenant au moins du fer, sous forme métallique et/ou sous forme oxyde, au moins une matrice oxyde, la teneur en fer étant comprise entre 15% et 70% en poids en élément fer par rapport au poids total dudit matériau, et au moins du carbure de silicium sous sa forme cristallographique alpha (α-SiC), caractérisé en ce que ledit matériau comprend au plus 25% en poids d'hématite par rapport au poids total dudit matériau, ledit matériau se présentant sous la forme de billes ou d'extrudés.
