Abstract[English] The present invention relates to the preparation of a boron-containing alumina shaped from a boehmite gel in which at least one boron source is added in the step or steps of precipitating at least one aluminum salt to form a boehmite gel. The boron-containing alumina according to the invention, owing to its advantageous properties, can be used as a support for catalysts in all refining processes and also as an adsorbent, in particular for catalytic processes treating hydrocarbon cuts such as the hydrotreating of vacuum distillates.[French] La présente invention se rapporte à la préparation d'une alumine contenant du bore mise en forme à partir d'un gel de boehmite dans lequel au moins une source de bore est ajoutée dans la ou les étapes de précipitation d'au moins un sel d'aluminium pour former un gel de boehmite. L'alumine contenant du bore selon l'invention, du fait de ses propriétés intéressantes, peut être utilisée comme support de catalyseurs dans tous procédés de raffinage ainsi que comme adsorbant, en particulier pour les procédés catalytiques traitant des coupes hydrocarbonées telles que l'hydrotraitement de distillats sous vide.
