Die Erfindung betrifft einen Treibstofftank (3) zur Aufnahme von flüssigem Wasserstoff mit einem Tankvolumen (5) und mit einer thermischen Isolierung (6, 7), welche zumindest ein Volumen (6) mit einem Isolationsvakuum zwischen dem Tankvolumen (5) und einer Außenhülle (4) aufweist. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in der Außenhülle (4) wenigstens ein thermisch auslösendes Ventil (10) angeordnet ist, welches dazu eingerichtet ist, das Volumen (6) mit dem Isolationsvakuum oberhalb einer Grenztemperatur fluidisch mit der Umgebung (11) zu verbinden.[English]
