Abstract[English]
The present invention relates to pure cultures of strains of the family Lactobacillaceae or of the genus Bifidobacterium as well as next-generation probiotic for use as antimicrobials for inhibiting growth of a bacterium, such as infectious bacteria or a bacterium under infections conditions. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a substance or composition comprising such substantially pure cultures of strains of the family Lactobacillaceae or of the genus Bifidobacterium or of a next-generation probiotic, as well as to methods of treating a bacterial infection in mammals by administering such strains of the family Lactobacillaceae or of the genus Bifidobacterium or of a next-generation probiotic.[French]
La présente invention concerne des cultures pures de souches de la famille des Lactobacillaceae ou du genre Bifidobacterium, ainsi que des probiotiques de nouvelle génération destinés à être utilisés en tant qu'agents antimicrobiens pour inhiber la croissance d'une bactérie, telle que des bactéries infectieuses ou une bactérie dans des conditions d'infections.
