Abstract[English]
A combustion system for a gas turbine engine is provided. The combustion system includes a first burner stage (701-1), a second burner stage (701-2), and a third burner stage (701-3), where the first, second, and third burner stages (701) are radially and axially spaced apart from one another. The system offers superior engine operability (e.g., inhibiting NOx and CO emissions and thermoacoustic instabilities) by way of structural and/or operational relationships that permit distributing heat release axially and radially within the combustion system, while maintaining a compact system and involving relatively low mechanical complexity.[French]
L'invention porte sur un système de combustion pour un moteur à turbine à gaz. Le système de combustion comprend un premier étage de brûleur (701-1), un deuxième étage de brûleur (701-2) et un troisième étage de brûleur (701-3), les premier, deuxième et troisième étages de brûleur (701) étant espacés radialement et axialement l'un de l'autre.
