Abstract[English]
The present invention relates to a method for detecting a gas emission from a system, the method comprising the steps of providing a transparent or translucent carrier with a thermochromic layer on one side of the carrier and a heater on either side of the carrier, the thermochromic layer having an initial colour, placing the side of the carrier supporting the thermochromic layer facing the system, heating the thermochromic layer with the heater, the thermochromic layer colour changing to another colour due to an increase of temperature, operating the system, detecting a gas emission by determining a colour change of the thermochromic layer viewed through the transparent or translucent carrier due to the cooling of the thermochromic layer by the gas emission from the system. The invention also relates to a detecting device to detect gas emission.[French]
La présente invention concerne un procédé de détection d'une émission de gaz à partir d'un système, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à fournir un support transparent ou translucide avec une couche thermochromique d'un côté du support et un dispositif de chauffage de part et d'autre du support, la couche thermochromique ayant une couleur initiale, placer le côté du support supportant la couche thermochromique faisant face au système, chauffer la couche thermochromique au moyen du dispositif de chauffage, la couleur de la couche thermochromique changeant en une autre couleur en raison d'une augmentation de la température, faire fonctionner le système, détecter une émission de gaz par détermination d'un changement de couleur de la couche thermochromique vue à travers le support transparent ou translucide en raison du refroidissement de la couche thermochromique par l'émission de gaz provenant du système. L'invention concerne également un dispositif de détection permettant de détecter une émission de gaz.
