A press shoe (30) for a paper making machine, arranged to be mounted in, or installed into, a belt, or sleeve, or jacket, roll (10), wherein the shoe (30) comprises: -a working surface (44), or sole (64), or contact surface, arranged to face and contact a belt, or sleeve, or jacket (26), and cooperate with a counter roll (12), to form a nip press (1), wherein the working surface (44) of the shoe (30) is made from a polymer material, and the working surface has a surface roughness Ra that is less than 20 µm, preferably less than 6 µm, and more preferably less than 1 µm.[French]
L'invention concerne un sabot de presse (30) pour une machine de fabrication de papier, agencé pour être monté dans, ou installé dans, une courroie, ou un manchon, ou une chemise, un rouleau (10), le sabot (30) comprenant : - une surface de travail (44), ou une semelle (64), ou une surface de contact, agencée pour faire face et entrer en contact avec une courroie, ou un manchon, ou une chemise (26), et pour coopérer avec un contre-rouleau (12), pour former une presse à pincement (1), la surface de travail (44) du sabot (30) étant composée d'un matériau polymère, et la surface de travail présentant une rugosité de surface Ra qui est inférieure à 20 µm, de préférence inférieure à 6 µm, et de préférence encore inférieure à 1 µm.
