Die Erfindung betrifft einen Fahrzeugsitz (30) mit einem Sitzgestell (32), wobei der Fahrzeugsitz (30) eine Sitzfläche (34) und eine durch das Sitzgestell (32) getragene Rückenlehne (36) aufweist. Dabei ist an dem Sitzgestell (32) ein Airbagmodul (38) befestigt ist. Das Sitzgestell (32) ist im Bereich der Rückenlehne (36) zumindest abschnittsweise von einem Schaum (40) umgeben, derart, dass das Airbagmodul (38) von dem Schaum (40) ummantelt ist. Es ist vorgesehen, dass in dem Schaum (40) eine Airbagtasche (72) ausgebildet ist, wobei die Airbagtasche (72) eine einer Airbag-Austrittsöffnung (64) des Airbagmoduls (38) zugewandte Einlauföffnung (76) aufweist.[English]
