Vorgeschlagen wird ein Dekorelement (100) für einen Innenraum eines Fahrzeugs. Das Dekorelement (100) weist eine Dekorschicht (110) auf, die wenigstens eine Öffnung (120) aufweist, die sich in Dickenrichtung der Dekorschicht (110) erstreckt, zumindest teilweise mit einem zumindest transluzenten Füllmaterial (130) gefüllt ist und deren Mündungsabschnitt an einer Sichtseite der Dekorschicht (110) mit einer Oberfläche der Dekorschicht (110) abschließt. Zudem weist das Dekorelement (100) wenigstens eines von einer Oberflächenbeschichtung (140) und einem Abdeckelement (140), die oder das benachbart zu und/oder auf die wenigstens eine Öffnung (120) an der Sichtseite der Dekorschicht (110) zumindest abschnittsweise aufgebracht ist. Ferner wird ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Dekorelements vorgeschlagen.[English]
