Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Einrichtung zum Prüfen eines Bauteils (10) aus zumindest teilweise transparentem Material auf hierin oder hierauf vorhandenen Fehlstellen (11), wobei das Bauteil (10) mit einem von einer IR-Lichtquelle (1) emittierten Licht von einer Seite her derart durchleuchtet wird, dass das gegenüberliegend aus dem Bauteil (10) austretende Licht bildhaft von einer IR-Kamera (2) aufgezeichnet wird, deren Bildinformationen von einer elektronischen Auswerteeinheit (4) per Bildverarbeitung hinsichtlich Fehlstellen (11) analysiert werden, welche sich hinsichtlich Form, Größe und/oder Transparenzgrad von der unmittelbaren Bildumgebung unterscheiden.[English]
