The invention relates to a suspension lower arm (16) comprising a stamped metal plate (19) defining a median plane, the stamped metal plate comprising: a first branch (22) extending to a first connection end (24); a second branch (28) extending from the first branch (22) to a second connection end (30), the first (22) and second (28) branches extending in an arc defining an upper surface (46, 48) opposite a lower surface (38); a third branch (40) projecting from the upper surface (46, 48) in the continuation of the second branch (28) opposite the second connection end (30), to a third connection end (42). The stamped plate (19) has a local thinning (20) in the first branch (22), close to the second (28) and third (40) branches.[French]
L'invention concerne un bras inférieur de suspension (16) comportant une plaque métallique emboutie (19) définissant un plan moyen Ladite plaque métallique emboutie comprend : une première branche (22) s'étendant jusqu'à une première extrémité de liaison (24); une deuxième branche (28) s'étendant dans le prolongement de ladite première branche (22) jusqu'à une deuxième extrémité de liaison (30), lesdites première (22) et deuxième (28) branches s'étendant en arc en définissant un extrados (46, 48) opposé à un intrados (38); une troisième branche (40) s'étendant en saillie dudit extrados (46, 48) dans le prolongement de ladite deuxième branche (28) à l'opposé de ladite deuxième extrémité de liaison (30) et jusqu'à une troisième extrémité de liaison (42).
