Abstract[English]
Systems and methods for determining a user of a machine using wireless signals are disclosed. Channel state information is collected from wireless signals received by a wireless receiver. The channel state information (CSI) is pre-processed and segments of the channel state information are selected. Using one or more parameters of the selected segments of the channel state information, a presence of the user is identified based on additional packets received by the wireless receiver. The method further includes controlling an operation of the machine, in response to detecting the presence of the user.[French]
L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés permettant de déterminer un utilisateur d'une machine à l'aide de signaux sans fil. Des informations d'état de canal (CSI) sont collectées à partir de signaux sans fil reçus par un récepteur sans fil. Les CSI sont prétraitées et des segments des CSI sont sélectionnés. Au moyen d'un ou de plusieurs paramètres des segments sélectionnés des CSI, une présence de l'utilisateur est identifiée sur la base de paquets supplémentaires reçus par le récepteur sans fil. Le procédé consiste en outre à commander un fonctionnement de la machine, en réponse à la détection de la présence de l'utilisateur.
