Abstract[English]
The present invention concerns the use of plant defense elicitor compositions, more particularly to protect plants against pests or pathogens. This includes the protection of plants and crops by application of these plant elicitor compositions. The active ingredient(s) of the plant defense elicitor compositions comprise lignin-derived phenolic oligomers with a degree of polymerization (DP) of 2 to 8, preferably of 2 to 4 (such as lignin-derived dimeric (diphenolic), lignin-derived trimeric compounds (triphenolic) and lignin-derived tetrameric compounds) and the and engineered or synthesized structural similar compounds.[French]
La présente invention concerne l'utilisation de compositions élicitrices de défense des plantes, plus particulièrement pour protéger des plantes contre des organismes nuisibles ou des pathogènes. Ceci comprend la protection de plantes et de cultures par application de ces compositions élicitrices de défense des plantes. Le ou les principes actifs des compositions élicitrices de défense des plantes comprennent des oligomères phénoliques dérivés de lignine ayant un degré de polymérisation (DP) de 2 à 8, de préférence de 2 à 4 (tels que le dimère dérivé de lignine (diphénolique), des composés trimères dérivés de lignine (triphénoliques) et des composés tétramères dérivés de lignine) et les composés similaires structuraux modifiés ou synthétisés.
