The present disclosure relates to a frame (10) for a vehicle. The frame comprises a first side rail (21) and a second side rail (22) arranged substantially parallel to the first rail (21). The frame (10) also comprises a crossbeam (32) connecting the side rails (21,22) and being arranged substantially perpendicularly to the side rails (21,22). The crossbeam (32) comprises a first member (321) and a second member (322), which comprise a composite material. The first member (321) and the second member (322) comprise respective surfaces (321a,322a) extending along a transverse direction. The respective surfaces (321a,322a) are bonded to each other with an adhesive (326) provided at the interface between the surfaces (321a,322a).
