There is described a method of implementing a total-order broadcast in a distributed system (1) comprising a plurality of processes (12), the method comprising: - receiving a request signal (R) comprising a message (M) and a bet (B), wherein the bet (B) is indicative of a time instant, and - introducing the message (M) in an ordered set (2), the set (2) ordered as a function of increasing bet (B) and comprising a number of messages (M) to be delivered in a total order.[French]
