The invention relates to a device and a method for applying flowable adhesive onto a respective face of flexible cover materials, comprising an application roller, a first transport portion which guides the covers to the application roller, and a second transport portion which guides the covers away from the application roller. The second transport portion is formed by a use cylinder that, together with the application roller, forms a gap through which the covers are conveyed. L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé permettant d'appliquer un adhésif fluide sur une face respective de matériaux de couvertures souples, comprenant un rouleau d'application, une première partie de déplacement qui guide les couvertures vers le rouleau d'application, et une seconde partie de déplacement qui guide les couvertures à l'opposé du rouleau d'application. La seconde partie de déplacement est formée par un cylindre d'utilisation qui, conjointement avec le rouleau d'application, forme un espace à travers lequel les couvertures sont déplacées.
