The present invention relates to a method for modifying a tissue paper machine that comprises a drying section (10) with a first through-air dryer (11) and a second through-air dryer (12) in serial alignment with each other, each through-air dryer (11, 12) comprising a rotatable cylinder (111, 121) having a porous cylindrical deck (112, 122), and the tissue paper machine (1) further comprising a first fabric (21) wrapped about a portion of a circumference of the first through-air dryer (11) and the second through-air dryer (12), and also comprising a plurality of lead rolls (30) positioned relative to each through-air dryer (11, 12), and wherein the method comprises: - removing the first fabric (21), and - mounting a second fabric (22) for directing the second fabric (22) onto and from the first through-air dryer (11) but not the second through-air dryer (12).[French]
