Bei einem Verfahren zum Durchführen einer Farbkalibrierung einer Innenkamera (102) eines Fahrzeugs (104) wird von der Innenkamera (102) mindestens ein Bild erfasst wird. Das Bild umfasst eine Abbildung von mindestens einem in dem Fahrzeuginnenraum (106) angeordneten Referenzelement (108, 110, 112). Das Referenzelement (108, 110, 112) emittiert aktiv Licht mit einer bekannten Farbe oder wird von mindestens einer in dem Fahrzeuginnenraum (106) angeordneten Lichtquelle (114) mit Licht mit einer bekannten Farbe angeleuchtet. Von der Innenkamera (102) werden dem Bild entsprechende Bilddaten erzeugt. Von einer Verarbeitungseinheit (124) werden die Bilddaten empfangen und verarbeitet, um eine auf das Referenzelement (108, 110, 112) bezogene Farbinformation zu ermitteln. Ferner wird von einer Verarbeitungseinheit (124) unter Berücksichtigung der bekannten Farbe und der ermittelten Farbinformation eine Farbkalibrierung der Innenkamera (102) durchgeführt.[English]
