Die Vorrichtung ist eingerichtet, zu bestimmen, dass eine Zusatzeinheit an dem Kraftfahrzeug befestigt wurde. Die Vorrichtung ist ferner eingerichtet, ein Profil für die an dem Kraftfahrzeug befestigte Zusatzeinheit aus einer Menge von vordefinierten Profilen auszuwählen, wobei die Menge von Profilen für eine entsprechende Menge von unterschiedlichen Zusatzeinheiten jeweils Daten in Bezug auf ein oder mehrere Eigenschaften der jeweiligen Zusatzeinheit umfasst. Des Weiteren ist die Vorrichtung eingerichtet, das Kraftfahrzeug in Abhängigkeit von den Daten aus dem ausgewählten Profil zu betreiben.[English]
