Die Erfindung betrifft ein V2X-Modul für ein zweispuriges Fahrzeug, insbesondere Fahrrad, aufweisend ein Gehäuse mit einer Fahrzeugschnittstelle zur mechanischen Verbindung des V2X-Moduls mit dem Fahrzeug, mit einer V2X-Kommunikationsschnittstelle zum Senden und Empfangen von V2X-Nachrichten, mit einer Bewegungsermittlungseinheit zur Ermittlung einer Bewegungskenngröße des Fahrzeugs, mit einer Zustandsbestimmungseinheit, die dazu ausgebildet ist, einen Zustand des V2X-Moduls basierend auf der Bewegungskenngröße zu ermitteln. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Zustandsbestimmungseinheit dazu ausgebildet ist, den Zustand zusätzlich basierend auf einer Radsensorinformation zu ermitteln, wobei die Zustandsbestimmungseinheit dazu ausgebildet ist, einen Fahrzeugtyp und/oder eine ordnungsgemäße Anbringung des V2X-Moduls am Fahrzeug zu ermitteln.[English]
