Abstract[English]
The invention relates to a system and a method for producing a synthesis gas from a carbon dioxide-rich feed stream and a water feedstock via electrolysis, wherein excess heat from CO2 electrolysis is arranged to generate steam to steam electrolysis. More specifically, a system and a process are provided for production of a synthesis gas stream, said system comprising: a carbon dioxide-rich feed stream; a first H2O-rich feed stream; a first solid oxide electrolysis (SOEC) section; a second solid oxide electrolysis (SOEC) section; and a conversion section. Optimal use of heat energy is achieved by heat transfer from the output of the first SOEC section to the input of the second SOEC section.[French]
L'invention se rapporte à un système et à un procédé permettant de produire un gaz de synthèse à partir d'un courant d'alimentation riche en dioxyde de carbone et d'une charge d'alimentation en eau par électrolyse, la chaleur excédentaire provenant de l'électrolyse de CO2 étant agencée pour générer de la vapeur pour l'électrolyse de la vapeur. Plus spécifiquement, l'invention concerne un système et un procédé de production d'un flux de gaz de synthèse, ledit système comprenant : un flux d'alimentation riche en dioxyde de carbone ; un premier flux d'alimentation riche en H2O ; une première section d'électrolyse à oxyde solide (SOEC) ; une seconde section d'électrolyse à oxyde solide (SOEC) ; et une section de conversion. L'utilisation optimale de l'énergie thermique est obtenue par transfert de chaleur de la sortie de la première section de SOEC jusqu'à l'entrée de la seconde section de SOEC.
