Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Verbinden zweier Bauteile (14, 16), bei dem zwei miteinander in einem Fügebereich (12) zu verbindende Bauteiloberflächen (22, 23) der Bauteile (14, 16) durch eine Strahlungsquelle (32) erwärmt werden, wobei zumindest im Fügebereich (12) das erste Bauteil (14) aus Kunststoff und das zweite Bauteil (16) aus Metall besteht, und wobei vorzugsweise die beiden Bauteiloberflächen (22, 23) mit einer senkrecht zu den Bauteiloberflächen (22, 23) wirkenden Anpresskraft (F) gegeneinander gepresst werden.[English]
