Abstract[German] Die Erfindung richtet sich auf eine Pfandschlosseinrichtung für einen Einkaufswagen, welche im Wege einer Interaktion mit einem von einem Nutzer bereitgestellten Smartphone entriegelt werden kann, so dass ein zunächst durch die Pfandschlossanordnung gesicherter Einkaufswagen freigegeben werden kann. Die erfindungsgemäße Pfandschlosseinrichtung umfasst eine Sperreinrichtung, die derart ausgebildet ist, dass diese auf elektromechanischem Wege in einen Freigabezustand verbringbar ist, eine Steuereinrichtung, zur Ansteuerung der Sperreinrichtung und eine Schnittstelleneinrichtung, zur Bewerkstelligung einer Interaktion zwischen der Steuereinrichtung und einem im Bereich des Einkaufswagens von einem Anwender bereitgehaltenen Smartphone. Die Steuereinrichtung umfasst eine elektronische Rechnereinrichtung und eine Speichereinrichtung. Die Rechnereinrichtung arbeitet im Rahmen einer Freigabeanforderung eine Prüfroutine ab. Im Rahmen dieser Abarbeitung erfolgt eine Abfrage von Daten, die durch das Smartphone bereitgestellt werden. In Verbindung mit den abgefragten Daten und auf der Speichereinrichtung hinterlegten Inhalten wird ermittelt, ob ein Freigabekriterium erfüllt ist.
