Die Erfindung betrifft eine Aufbereitungsvorrichtung (1) zur Aufbereitung von Wasser für einen Elektrolyseur (2), mit einem Vorwasserspender (3) zur Bereitstellung von Vorwasser (4), einem Dampfkompressionsdestillator (5), insbesondere einem mechanischen Dampfkompressionsdestillator (5), zur Vorreinigung des bereitgestellten Vorwassers (4), wobei der Dampfkompressionsdestillator (5) dazu eingerichtet ist, aus dem bereitgestellten Vorwasser (4) Destillat (6) und Konzentrat (7) zu erzeugen, einer Konzentratabführung (8) zur Abführung des Konzentrats, und einer Destillatzuführung (9) zur Zuführung zumindest eines Teils des Destillats zu einem Elektrolyseur (2) oder einem Kühlwasserspeicher (10) eines Elektrolyseurs (2).[English]
