Abstract[English]
The present invention relates to a process to control the outlet temperature of a heat exchange reformer in the production of synthesis gas wherein a first stream of feed gas (1000) is directed to a first reforming section and a second stream (1100) of feed gas is directed to said heat exchange reformer, characterised in that the outlet stream (4000) of said reforming section is divided into at least a first and a second sub-streams. The first sub-stream (4100) is directed into said heat exchange reformer to provide heat for the reforming section and the outlet stream (5000) of the heat exchange reformer is directed to a first waste heat boiler (E001). The second sub-stream (4200) bypasses the heat exchange reformer and is directed to a second waste heat boiler (E002) for heat recovery and high pressure steam production. The oultet temperature of said heat exchange reformer is adjusted in this manner. The present invention also relates to a plant for the production of chemicals and fuels according to this process comprising a reforming section, a heat exchange reformer, a first and a second waste heat boiler and at least one control means located on or downstream of a waste heat boiler to adjust the outlet temperature at the heat exchange reformer.[French]
La présente invention concerne un procédé de régulation de la température de sortie d'un reformeur à échange de chaleur dans la production de gaz de synthèse et éventuellement de la température d'entrée d'un réacteur pour la production de produits chimiques et de carburants, différentes limitations du système de reformeur à échange de chaleur classique étant surmontées, ce qui est particulièrement utile lors de la modernisation d'installations existantes pour la production de produits chimiques et/ou de carburants, tels que des installations de production d'ammoniac et de méthanol.
