Abstract[English] The invention relates to methods of analysing lignin comprising particles in a sample is provided, such method without physical separation or isolation of the particles and without labelling or staining of the particles, the method comprising a) radiating one or more particles in the sample with a femtosecond (fs) pulsed laser at near-infrared (nIR) or short-wave infrared (SWIR) excitation wavelength and b) detecting the signal generated by one or more irradiated particle, thereby analysing the particles in the sample.[French] L'invention concerne des procédés d'analyse de lignine comprenant des particules dans un échantillon, un tel procédé sans séparation physique ni isolation des particules et sans marquage ni coloration des particules, le procédé consistant à: a) émettre une ou plusieurs particules dans l'échantillon avec un laser pulsé femtoseconde (fs) à une longueur d'onde d'excitation proche de l'infrarouge (nIR) ou infrarouge à ondes courtes (SWIR); et b) détecter le signal généré par une ou plusieurs particules émises, ce qui permet d'analyser les particules dans l'échantillon.
