Abstract[English]
The present disclosure provides monoclonal antibodies, and method of use thereof, for diagnosing and/or treating P. gingivalis infection and/or chronic diseases resulted from or associated with such infection. Specific antigen¬ antibody reaction regions on each P. gingivalis outer membrane protein are also identified and used for developing vaccines for prevention and treatment. The monoclonal antibodies of the present disclosure cross-react with different antigen regions of different P. gingivalis outer membrane protein. Animal models and diagnostic kits for serological evaluation and assessment of prognosis and treatment effectiveness after P. gingivalis infection are also provided.[French]
La présente divulgation concerne des anticorps monoclonaux, ainsi qu'une méthode d'utilisation de ceux-ci dans le diagnostic et/ou le traitement d'une infection par P. gingivalis et/ou de maladies chroniques résultant d'une telle infection ou associées à celle-ci. Des régions de réaction anticorps-antigène spécifiques sur chaque protéine de membrane externe de P. gingivalis sont également identifiées et utilisées pour développer des vaccins destinés à la prévention et au traitement. Les anticorps monoclonaux de la présente divulgation réagissent de manière croisée avec différentes régions
antigéniques de différentes protéines de membrane externe de P. gingivalis. L'invention concerne également des modèles animaux et des kits de diagnostic pour l'évaluation sérologique et l'estimation du pronostic et de l'efficacité du traitement après une infection par P. gingivalis.
