Abstract[English]
An embedded control device (1) is provided that is configured to concurrently execute a number of control apps (10) for controlling a technical system (2), the embedded control device (1) comprising a number of units comprising: a broker unit (3) configured to provide a message bus (5) enabling serialized publish/subscribe topic-based communication between any of the number of control apps (10), the number of units, and the technical system (2), and an updater unit (4) configured to: in response to a new instance (20b) of the broker unit (3) being executed on the embedded control device (1) in addition to the old instance (20a) of the broker unit (3), publish an update topic on the message bus (5); and cause a handover of control from the old instance (20a) to the new instance (20b) of the broker unit (3) by transmitting a switch command in the update topic on the message bus (5). Also provided are a method for updating a broker unit of an embedded control device and a computer program product. The invention enables broker unit updates without downtime.[French]
L'invention concerne un dispositif de commande intégré (1) qui est configuré pour exécuter simultanément un certain nombre d'applications de commande (10) permettant de commander un système technique (2), le dispositif de commande intégré (1) comprenant un certain nombre d'unités comprenant : une unité de courtage (3) configurée pour fournir un bus de message (5) permettant une communication basée sur un thème de publication/abonnement sérialisée entre l'un quelconque parmi le nombre d'applications de commande (10), le nombre d'unités et le système technique (2), et une unité de mise à jour (4) configurée pour : en réponse à une nouvelle instance (20b) de l'unité de courtage (3) étant exécutée sur le dispositif de commande intégré (1) en plus de l'ancienne instance (20a) de l'unité de courtage (3), publier un sujet de mise à jour sur le bus de message (5) ; et provoquer un transfert de commande de l'ancienne instance (20a) à la nouvelle instance (20b) de l'unité de courtage (3) par transmission d'une commande de commutation dans le sujet de mise à jour sur le bus de message (5).
