A collection bag (10) for human body wastes, the collection bag comprising: a bag member (1) comprising a first wall (2) and second wall (3), which are at least partly joined together along their edges to define a collection cavity (17) within the bag member (1); a discharge portion (8) comprising a discharge opening (9), where the discharge opening (9) is defined by an unsealed clearance between the first wall (2) and the second wall (3); a first plate member (21) mounted on a front side of the first wall (2); a second plate member (22) mounted on a front side of the second wall (3), wherein the first plate member (21) is mounted on the discharge portion (8) proximal the discharge opening (9) and the second plate member (22) is mounted distally the discharge opening (9); wherein a distal segment of the second wall (3) is adapted to be folded to align the first plate member (21) and the second plate member (22) to a position proximally the discharge opening (9) on opposing sides of the discharge portion (8), thereby reinforce the discharge opening (9).[French]
