Abstract[English] According to an aspect of the invention, there is provided a power plant controller for a renewable energy power plant comprising one or more renewable energy generators and one or more Power-to-X units. Each Power-to-X unit is configured to convert electric power to X. The renewable energy power plant is connected to a power network. The power plant controller is configured to execute machine readable instructions to: receive a signal indicative of available active power for supply to the one or more Power-to-X units from the one or more renewable energy generators; detect a state change condition if the indicated available active power is outside a first active power range for a threshold period, the first active power range being associated with a current activation state of the one or more Power-to-X units; and dispatch one or more commands for controlling the one or more Power-to-X units to switch from the current activation state to another activation state in dependence on detecting the state change condition.[French] Selon un aspect de l'invention, l'invention concerne un dispositif de commande de centrale électrique pour une centrale électrique à énergie renouvelable comprenant un ou plusieurs générateurs d'énergie renouvelable et une ou plusieurs unités Power-to-X. Chaque unité Power-to-X est configurée pour convertir de l'énergie électrique vers X. La centrale électrique à énergie renouvelable est connectée à un réseau électrique. Le dispositif de commande de centrale électrique est configuré pour exécuter des instructions lisibles par machine pour : recevoir un signal indiquant une puissance active disponible à des fins d'alimentation de la ou des unités Power-to-X à partir du ou des générateurs d'énergie renouvelable; détecter une condition de changement d'état si la puissance active disponible indiquée n'est pas comprise dans une première plage de puissance active pendant une période de seuil, la première plage de puissance active étant associée à un état d'activation actuel de la ou des unités Power-to-X; et envoyer une ou plusieurs commandes pour commander la ou les unités Power-to-X pour qu'elle(s) assure(nt) une commutation de l'état d'activation actuel à un autre état d'activation en fonction de la détection de la condition de changement d'état.
